Atlantic.Net opens first international data center in Europe

High-powered SSD cloud hosting solutions provider Atlantic.Net has recently opened its first international data center in London.

The London data center is owned by Infinity, and is the sixth addition to the company’s infrastructure. According to the press release, customers can now launch close servers in less than 30 seconds, backed by SSD storage and 55GBPS infiniband technology.

Marty Puranik, Founder, President and CEO of Atlantic.Net, said that hay have seen beneficial growth in Europe since they have launched their cloud hosting service. This new data center and expansion is the company’s response to their customers’ needs.

“We have a large customer base in the U.K. who will now have better latency with a local data center,” he said, adding that the company has partnered with Infinity due to their world-class network and reputation.
